Titan: Win. everyone loved it and it played (as terrain) very well.

So, with the failing, I realised the weaknesses in my list - everything.
Well, not quite true... the tactical squads worked I suppose. Their missile launchers however ...

This is the test model I am doing for Boofy's jetbikes.
His scheme is "gloss black, orange/gold".

He told me to do the front bits black and the rest will paint themselves.
Somehow I dont think he thunk it'd end up like this.

Sidetracked - An Orks List

So I am at work, right. Talking to Wonna, right. He is saying that he needs to get in some games vs Orks before the next 2 months worth of tourneys, and that he hasn't played Orks since the 5th ed IG codex.

I tell him that I am off Orks until 2011, focusing on my Marines, or until I can find a list I like that isn't Battlewagon Blitz.

So, my lunch break turned into hitting the old memory banks and writing 2 Orks Lists.

The premise of this is to full-reserve the Elites and FA and outflank and see what happens. I do not think this army will work. Its a bit silly and Orky though :)

Cowcon Terrain Finished, and moving onto evil plan #2

So, the terrain is painted. I won't be putting up pictures until after the tourney (in 2 weeks timeish).
There has to be SOME suspense :)

As for the next project. Boofy's Eldar.

I have been given, mainly on sprue, the following:

18 Jetbikes
10 Fire Dragons
8 Warp Spiders
2 Falcons
1 FW Nightspinner (yay!)
4 Vypers

This all settles into a nice 1750 list, with the jetbike farseer to come.

I have been requested to do torso swaps for all the guardians (replacement torsos are supplied too)
Beyond that, I have started the first jetbike rider, and Boofy has given me lotsa lotsa colour schemes to follow for his eldar. They will be prodominantly black and orange. The Guardians will be black(ish) and green highlights.

Look for pictures coming in the next week or 2 of the first jetbikes, or if all runs well, ALL the jetbikes finished.

Istvaan 5 Terrain for Cowcon, Part 2

So I have been hacking away at the area terrain pieces between cryng babies and sleeping.

First piece: "outside the wall"

Second piece: "outside the wall"

Third piece: "inside the walls"


You cant see it properly, but this is a tiered piece of basing. It was originally for the Warhound but I couldnt be bothered turning into in the shrine i had planned, so it became a ruin.

Once i get these sanded and painted, you will be seeing ze updatez!
